But first, a huge thanks to The Club at Westpoint Players
It was a memorable performance by The Players on Friday and there is already an Oscar Buzz! Our stellar cast unpacked the tawdry tapestry of dishonour and sluethed out the villain. Here is a one minute snippet of the evening’s fun.

From top left: Celine De Lyon, The Disappearing Detective, Anne Ocean, Dilly Duster and Dr Doeslittle, Our Faithful Fans, Kate Wingsitt and Charles Champagne, Gerry van der Halliwell and Reverand IT Best, Jack Di Caprio and Dame Winnie Davies, Marion and Richard Nouveau-Riche, and our Host.

It is no coincidence that the Academy announced today that Oscars 2021 will be pushed back to April. Obviously, the big movie makers need time to come up with something to compete with “Dishonour on the RMS Gigantic”. *****

All the details

The Club at Westpoint is hosting the Summer Sailstice South Bay Photographic Scavenger Hunt (yes it needs a shorter name) on Saturday, June 20th, 2020. We invite all boaters to get out on the water to create the biggest single-day photographic record of our most beautiful local asset.

We’re offering prizes to the teams that complete the challenge and for the best wildlife photographs.

Then, at 5 pm, join us on the harbor’s kayak launching dock to celebrate the “Longest Day of the Year.” Bring your own chairs, food, and beverages to socially distance on the wide dock area and see your friends from not so long ago. Or, if you can, bring your supplies in your dinghy and drift along the dock to visit and enjoy a lingering summer evening with friends.

We will be following the San Mateo County Guidelines on Physical-Distancing.

At 6:00 we’ll have a Special Sailstice Summer Quiz.- easy questions about Summer
Check out the program on the Sumer Sailstice site.

And take a sneak peek at the scavenger hunt list we’ll be looking for on the day.

Please share the link to this page with all the boaters you know and let’s make this a huge celebration of being back on the water!

For more information email SummerSailstice@TheClubAtWestpoint.com or visit the Summer Sailtice page on The Club website where you can sign up directly.
