Beginning on Friday The Clubhouse will re-open. The county is now (starting today) permitting outdoor events limited to 100 attendees and indoor events limited to 35. In addition, ABC is permitting us to start selling alcohol again as long as it is bottles of wine (not glasses) and bottles, or cans, of beer (not from the kegerator).
What does this mean for you?
On a case-by-case basis, we will look at which events should take advantage of these changes. Our primary consideration will always be the safety of our members. This means that some events will stay on Zoom, some will return to The Clubhouse, some will go outside, and some will be both Zoom and in person. Masks, social distancing, and other commonsense precautions we have learned are still in force.
In addition, your key fob has been reactivated and you’ll now be able to enter The Clubhouse again. We are introducing new hours of availability. Starting tomorrow, The Clubhouse will be open from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm every day, and to 9:00 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you would like access at any other times, please let me know.
This means that the crews from tomorrow’s Friday Fun Series will be welcomed into The Clubhouse after the race. And the Radio-Controlled Laser racers from Sunday will also be welcome for après-sail drinks on Sunday. And next weekend’s Whiskey Hill Billies will be out on the Helipad. Do invite your friends to register.
Look for more details in Friday’s Buzz which will detail when and importantly where, these events will now occur.
Every presenter and each musical talent will be offered the choice of where, and under what basis, they want their event to occur.
We’re very excited to be back. Of course, things may change in the future, and we will follow the guidelines that are then in force.
If you have any questions please let me know.
