Working around the Dock
Weekending October 15th, 2021

Looking towards the harbor entrance and turning circle

This week’s update

This past week saw the completion of the major paving and asphalting of the road, parking, and dumpster areas. One small section, where the new road (Northpoint Court) meets the harbor access road (Westpoint Harbor Drive) has been left undone to allow for drainage into the bioswale. This will be completed when the drain trench and rain grill are done. The contractor is waiting for parts.

The various drains and access holes are left to framing and concrete, then final asphalting. This is all on schedule.

The exciting sight was seeing the light poles delivered and you’ll see the first two are already up. The remainder will go up when the rest of the wire is delivered. It was held up by the global issue in the construction supply chain.

The construction manager, the project manager, and Mark Sanders now have daily meetings together to fine-tune the plan and activities.

And finally, this week saw the preparation of the final documents for the City Planners.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call me on 650-906-9276.
