Our Junior Sailing Program is holding its Annual Holiday Party and Fund Raiser at Sequoia Yacht Club 441 Seaport Ct. Redwood City
|
|
This year it starts with the Amazing Raise at 2 PM, which is an on-the-water scavenger hunt where 16 teams, representing 64 sailors of all ages, will compete in raising money where the grand price includes very generous gift certificates to Mersea and Waterbar; important to note that Members Parke & Meesun matched an anonymous donation to provide the gift certificates to the winning teams.

|
The holiday party starts at 5 pm, with a silent auction, and other activities include a talk by Helena (she spoke at the Chubb Regatta and is a very good speaker!).
- RSVP for the party.
- Party at 5:00 pm, dinner 5:00 to 6:00 pm, followed by entertainment and guest speaker
- Auction is LIVE!!!
Several club members are volunteering, including Larry Mayne, Winston Bumpus, Shannon Amerman, and Tod Klinger, so do join them at the Holiday Party, join the fun, say hi to our volunteer members, and shop the silent auction!

We have had to postpone this presentation until January
John Vandemoer will be speaking about his book, “Rigged Justice” to members and guests.
The former Stanford University sailing coach sentenced in the Varsity Blues college admissions scandal tells the riveting true story of how he was drawn unwittingly into a web of deceit in this eye-opening memoir that offers a damning portrait of modern college administration and the ways in which justice and fairness do not always intersect. – Google Books review.
