We had a big crowd for a movie night on Friday featuring the Oscar best picture winner CODA. We’re looking for requests for the next movie night.

Join us tomorrow in the clubhouse or on Zoom for an evening with the Board of Directors. You’ll hear an update on all that is going on and you will be able to ask all your questions.

May Pub Quiz
Friday 13th, May – 6:00 pm

May Pub Quiz will be the usual mix of trivia, general knowledge, and surprising facts. Join us as we exercise our brains in a not too serious and fun battle of wits.

May teaser question: why do we use the call “Mayday” when a vessel is in distress?

Doors open at 6:00 for snacks and beverages. Quiz at 6:30. Also on Zoom.

Craft Beer Night
German Beers – Hosted by Joe Driscoll
Friday 13th, May – 6:00 pm

Join us for an evening of craft beers in the German style. We will have the master brewer join us and take us through the different.

This is event is limited to 24 people and is $15 for members. The price includes 4 x 4-ounce tastings plus an extra tasting of your choice. And also includes snacks.

Clubhouse is Open
How and when to access the clubhouse

Despite the current pandemic, the clubhouse remains open to members. Here is how to access the clubhouse and some rules to follow while you’re there.

Opening hours:

  • Monday to Thursday – 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Other times by arrangement with Kevin

Covid Restrictions:
Mask and vaccine restrictions are now lifted for members and guests wishing to visit the clubhouse. Members may continue to wear a mask if they wish. The Club will continue to monitor the guidelines set by the State of California and San Mateo County and will reintroduce restrictions if necessary.

House Rules:
You should wear your member badge when you are in the clubhouse and your guests should wear a guest badge – anyone under 21 should wear a RED guest badge.

Dogs are permitted but must not be on the polished wood floor.

The bar is an honor bar and you can record your purchases on the point of sale system. Here is a video of how to use it.

Please ensure that the doors and windows are closed and locked, the AC, TV, and lights are off, and double-check that the cupola door (crow’s nest) and the entryway doors are securely closed.
