ClubBuzz: Tomorrow: Special Welcome Reception of Ocean Queen V and the Wooden Boats for Veterans organization

This Weekend
Welcome Reception
Cruise-In from SJSC

A quick note <<First Name>>,

A huge thanks to Joe Driscoll and Andreas Hildebrandt for last evening’s craft beer night. It was a huge success and everyone learned a lot about craft beer making in Germany.

Our friends from San Jose Sailing Club are cruising today. Do stop by and say “hi” to them on H-Dock.

And one last thing, we’re looking to hire a bookkeeper (details below). If you know anyone, please let our Controller, Jim Ward know.

Special Event
Welcome Reception on D-/E-dock
fOcean Queen V and the Wooden Boats for Veterans organization
Saturday 21st, May – 12:30 pm

Please join members of the harbor community, dignitaries, and special guests to this welcome reception for Ocean Queen V and the Wooden Boats for Veterans organization.

There will be a short presentation and then an opportunity to take an accompanied tour of “The Queen” and Hurrica V. These two classic boats grace our harbor and it is your chance to go aboard them.

WBFV uses the magic of wooden boat sailing as a pathway for restoring health and well-being to veterans and their families.  WBFV provides sailing and restoration instruction, teaching new skills in the community.  Through common purpose and teamwork, veterans rediscover inner strengths and share in camaraderie.

Look for your personal invitation in your email, today.
