Reciprocal Privileges with the
Royal Papua Yacht Club
Recently we contacted the Royal Papua Yacht Club to share the news that Hurrica V was now located at Westpoint Harbor. Hurrica served as a tender and search and rescue vessel based in Port Moresby during World War II. We thought they would like to learn more about her history.
The General Manager replied and a very pleasant exchange ensued. The result is that the RPYC has extended reciprocal privileges to The Club at Westpoint. At the most recent board meeting, TCAW approved the same arrangement for members of RPYC.
What this means for members is that if you are ever visiting Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea you will be welcomed with the same rights and privileges as members there.

Movie Night – Belfast with Kenneth Branagh
Belfast is a 2021 British coming-of-age drama film written and directed by Kenneth Branagh. The film stars Caitríona Balfe, Judi Dench, Jamie Dornan, Ciarán Hinds, Colin Morgan, and newcomer Jude Hill. The film, which Branagh has described as his “most personal”, follows a young boy’s childhood in Belfast, Northern Ireland, at the beginning of The Troubles in 1969.
Kevin will give a brief introduction to the movie.
There will be snacks at 6:00 and the movie presentation will begin at 6:30.
