Pilates and Pie
Sunday saw our first Pilates session in the clubhouse. Led by Angela Salgado, the event was a huge success. Please take a look at the pics below. A big thank you to Angela for putting this on for members and everyone who helped prepare the room for the event.

Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron
Member Debbie Goodland is in her home country of New Zealand right now. She used her club membership to go to visit the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, home of the America’s Cup. RNZYS will soon be hosting the Women’s Match Racing World Championships. While Debbie was there she bumped into a surprise visitor. Pics below.

Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron
Member Debbie Goodland is visiting her home country

The RNZYS is in Auckland just south of the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

Debbie and surprise visitor Molly Vandemouer, head coach of PYSF.

The RNZYS is the current home of The America’s Cup. Known as the “Auld Mug”, the trophy is the prize in the oldest international competition in the world. The race started in 1851.

Her is Debbie in the trophy room at the RNZYS. As a member of The Club she asked for a Letter of Introduction to be sent to RNZYS, and they welcomed her with open arms.

Molly is in Auckland participating in the National match racing competition and will be part of the Women’s Match Racing World Championship on November 9-13. You can learn more here.
