PUBLIC NOTICE
4th of July Traffic Restrictions on Seaport Boulevard
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The 4th of July fireworks show is returning to the Port of Redwood City. This is a great event for the community, but will affect traffic along Seaport Boulevard and may have an impact on you and/or your employees or others who drive to your buildings/business/home that evening.
- The fireworks are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 4th, at approximately 9:30 pm.
- Areas north of the Marina will be closed from 4 pm to 11 pm. Only tenants managing active cargo loading or unloading will be allowed in the northern area of the Port.
- No one will be allowed access to areas north of the Marina, including the waterfront.
LIMITED PARK ACCESS AND PARKING
Once the public parking capacity at the Port is full, the Redwood City Police Department may, at its discretion, close Seaport Boulevard at Blomquist Street.
The Seaport Boulevard closure may occur as early as 7 pm
After the intersection has been closed, no inbound vehicle access to the Port area will be available until after the fireworks show (vehicles will be able to leave the Port area even during the closure).
Any parking restrictions or security of private parking lots is the responsibility of the property owner or business
Please inform your tenants, employees, vendors, contractors, and others who may be impacted by this traffic restriction on July 4th.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
