Notice of Annual Members Meeting.
The Annual Members Meeting should be the closest Friday to September 15th in the bylaws. The board would like our first official event in the new clubhouse to be the Annual Members Meeting and asks the members if they would permit the date to be October 27th. This gives us time to settle in and work out the processes and procedures. Apologies for the typo on the voting form – it is corrected now.

If you could vote on this by August 7th, we will announce the results on August 8th. You should have an email with your voter number. Please check your spam folder if you do not see it.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you need me to send your voter registration again. Remember, only Full Memberships may vote.

New Billing System Rolling Out This Week.
This week you will receive a statement in email of your current account with The Club. It includes all your transactions since The Club began and shows your current balance. Please read through it carefully and let me know if you have any questions.

In addition, you will find a Credit Card/ACH Authorization Form so that we can automatically charge your membership fees and any restaurant, event, or other charges you might incur. If you wish to charge to your account in the restaurant, you must have a Credit Card or ACH authorization on file.

You can still pay for your membership dues annually, or if you prefer quarterly, by check or credit card and can indicate your preference on the Authorization Form.

If you give us permission, beginning in August, we will start automatically charging your account for charges related to The Club when they come due. We will send a notice of the charge approximately two weeks before the charge is due.

PYSF Fall Sailing Program
Exclusive Registration for Members opens August 7th

Check out the Fall Sailing Program from our Junior Sailing team at PYSF. Exclusive Member registration opens on August 7th.

This pre-registration is an exclusive member benefit allowing you to get your junior sailors into the program two weeks before registration is open to the public.

And do join the rest of The Club in supporting the PYSF Family Fun Regatta (see below) on August 12th.

PYSF Family Fun Regatta
Saturday, August 12th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Westpoint Harbor

Saturday, August 12th Family Fun Regatta is an awesome event that includes sailing in FJs and a Family Night style party at Westpoint. The event will be Saturday, August 12 from 10am-4pm. Sailors race with a family member (parent, sibling, grandparent, aunt…). Molly pairs you with another PY family/boat to complete a “team” racing for the Lori Wilkinson Trophy. We then have a fun filled party at Westpoint (with food truck, band, games) to celebrate the end of the summer! It’s a day you don’t want to miss.

Cruise-Out Calendar Update

Hello Cruisers,

As we have had a couple of adjustments to the schedule, I just wanted to remind you of what we have planned for the next couple of months. Please mark your calendar with this info and I hope to see you.

Aug 25 to Sept 1: The Delta. One of my top 3 places to visit!
Sept 1 to 4: Sausalito (Schoonmaker)… Those that are in the Delta can stop here on the way home as it’s an easy stopover along the way, or if not in the Delta, please do come and join us for the Labor Day weekend.
Oct 20 to 22: Half Moon Bay

I’d love to get an informal “we’re planning to go” or “wish we could but can’t make it” email from you… so please, reply to me (no need to reply all) and just give me a sense if you are planning to join any of the above cruise outs. I will create sign-ups but would love to get a sense of the number of people planning to join. Mostly because planning a cruise out for 3 boats vs 15 boats is very different.

Red Bra Regatta
Saturday, September 23th, South Beach Yacht Club

This is the 11th annual Red Bra Regatta. This is a regatta skippered and crewed by women only in the south portion of San Francisco Bay. This is a fun event that allows women to race against each other and enjoy a beautiful venue. No host bar and food for a nominal fee will be held after the race at South Beach Yacht Club.
