Let’s go to the Delta!

I can’t wait to return to the Delta in a couple weeks with The Club at Westpoint! While not that far as the crow flies, boating there transports you through almost all of the Bay’s marine ecosystems…

South Bay’s salt-water wetlands, San Francisco Bay, the North Bay and inland water ways, then finally freshwater estuary and wetlands! Once in the Delta, there is something for everyone in the vast water playground—skiing, kayaking, fishing, exploring! And even better to spend time there with friends… If you missed the presentation on the Delta that Shannon did earlier this week, use the link below.

PYSF Fall Sailing Program
Exclusive Registration for Members Open Now

Check out the Fall Sailing Program from our Junior Sailing team at PYSF. Exclusive Member registration opens on August 7th.

This pre-registration is a member benefit allowing you to get your junior sailors into the program two weeks before registration is open to the public.

Tomorrow, Saturday, August 12th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Chesapeake
then 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Westpoint

10:00 to 14:00 Family FUNdraising Regatta for the Lori Wilkinson Trophy

Where: Chesapeake Venue
Who: Current PYSF sailors, alumni and their families
What: Racing FJs in the turning basin adjacent to Chesapeake. And spectating/heckling of the racers from the grass!
Cost: $250 entry fee (includes after party)

15:00 to 17:00 End-of-Summer Party

Where: Westpoint Venue
Who: EVERYONE!!!
What: End of Summer celebration. We will have a band, taco truck, libations for all! We will also have FJs, Cubes and Ideals waiting at the dock for everyone to sail (like a family night!)
Cost: $50 pp or $100 family

When you buy art at this event you support not only the artists but also the Rotarian’s ongoing quest to help a number of organizations near and far.

For the third year now I’m very happy to be one of this years’ selected artist at this classy art fair in Los Altos, carefully planned and organized by the Los Altos Rotary Club.

There is food, drinks, and live entertainment — together with an exquisite array of fine art by 100+ artists from near and far. You can easily spend several hours there.

You will find me in booth no. 323.

Red Bra Regatta
Saturday, September 23th, South Beach Yacht Club

Member Barbara Bussler Exhibiting
Saturday August 12 and Sunday August 13, 2023
10:00 am to 5:30 pm both days

This is the 11th annual Red Bra Regatta. This is a regatta skippered and crewed by women only in the south portion of San Francisco Bay. This is a fun event that allows women to race against each other and enjoy a beautiful venue. No host bar and food for a nominal fee will be held after the race at South Beach Yacht Club.
