1. Mask Requirements
The Club at Westpoint Members and Guests shall follow the current San Mateo County Health Order requiring face coverings[1] while in the Clubhouse and restrooms:
“This Order directs that face coverings shall be worn, regardless of vaccination status, over the mouth and nose, in all indoor public settings, venues, gatherings, and workplaces, such as, but not limited to: offices, retail stores, restaurants, and bars, theaters, family entertainment centers, conference centers and government offices serving the public.”
Exemptions to this mask requirement:
You are not required to wear a mask indoors in a restaurant, bar, or office when you are eating or drinking. Also, children younger than two years old should not wear masks because of the risk of suffocation. The order exempts:
- Those with medical exemption written by a medical professional
- The hearing impaired or those communicating with the hearing impaired
- When wearing a more protective piece of equipment than a face covering, such as an N95 respirator
- When working alone in a closed office or room
- Persons who are specifically exempted from wearing face masks by other CDPH guidance
- Speaking at a meeting as long as they are socially distanced from the audience (6’ / 2m)
Note, as the County’s guidelines evolve The Club will adopt them. Our goal is always to be in harmony with the Harbor guidelines. If in doubt, check TheClubAtWestpoint.com/Covid-19.
2. Proof of Vaccination
Although not required by San Mateo County, proof of vaccination will be required to enter the Clubhouse. All Members and Guests will show their proof of vaccination on initial entry to the clubhouse. Once checked a small decal will be attached to the name badge, Membership card (physical and in SlipStream) and the fact they have been checked will be added to the member’s record. Once this has been done for Members they will not have to be checked on subsequent entry to the facility. A negative COVID test is not acceptable in lieu of proof of vaccination.
Acceptable proof of vaccination any of the following that includes the Member’s/Guest’s name, date of birth, vaccine type, and date(s) administered:
- COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (issued by the CDC); or
- A QR code that displays the Vaccine Record; or
- A photocopy, pdf, or jpeg of a completed vaccination card or QR code that display the Vaccine Record; or
- A photo of a completed vaccination card stored on a phone or electronic device; or
- Other documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider that includes the Vaccine Record.
Exemptions to this Vaccine Requirement
The only exceptions from the vaccination proof requirement are for Members and Guests who are either under the minimum age for vaccination or have a medical exemption.
