The updated schedule for the Cruise Out to The Club at Westpoint by way of the South Bay Wreck is as follows:
Weather permitting or not! Gather round the South Bay Wreck at 10:00 (it’s a approximately 10′ King (super) High Tide). We may raft up and enjoy a Brunch, for those interested in floating around the Destroyer the USS Thompson, bring your kayak, canoe, dinghy and carefully check out the highest part of the old rusty boat used for target practice by the little sparrowhawk biplanes launched and recovered from the USS Macon Airship based at Moffett Field in the 1930s.
All of the Cruisers should be at the Westpoint Harbor, and it would be wise to arrive sooner, but no later than 1400! A very low tide follows the King Tide with a -1.3 at 1730. For all that want to explore the Marina, please enjoy yourselves in your dinghy’s, canoes, rafts, etc. and there are some very nice walking paths that follow the Westpoint Slough, around and in the Pacific Shores Complex, and all around the Harbor. We’ll meet for Docktails on the B Dock and migrate to The Club at Westpoint in the Harbor House at 1700 for a Potluck Dinner. Sunday morning a light Breakfast is available at PLEIADES on the G Dock from 0830-1000.
